What is a Cutter Quilt? cutter quilt is a quilt that is beyond repair with stains or holes. However, there are sections of it that are still in great shape. We use the pieces that are salvageable to give it a second life.

How do I take care of my handmade apparel? All quilted items should be hand washed. Do not machine wash or dry. Soak in cool water with mild detergent. Rinse. Lay flat to dry.

What size are the coats?
We list sizes and measurements in each separate listing. To learn more about our sizing click here.

What is the backing material of the masks? The masks are backed with new fabric which is 100% cotton.

Do you take on custom orders or can I mail my own quilt in?  I am not taking on custom orders at this time but if this changes I will make an announcement through our email newsletter (so subscribe!)

Where is my order?
Once in a while a package will get lost in the mail. If you’ve received notification of shipment and 4-5 days have passed and you have yet to receive it, email hello@farewellfrances.com and we can assist you.

Do you make alterations?
We do not do in house alterations at this time. If you’ve purchase a coat or are looking to buy a coat but would like to add pockets or change features, this would have to be done at a local tailor.
